Before You Visit

 

We'd like to answer a few questions you might have as you decide to be our guest this Sunday at FaithBridge Church, A United Methodist Community.


1. What time are your services?
We offer Sunday morning fellowship for children, youth & adults at 9:30 am.  
Some might call it "Sunday School"; others might call it "Life Group".  We just like to gather together, share 45 minutes together, enjoy coffee or juice and a light breakfast, get to know each other a little, and maybe learn something.

We worship together at 10:30 am. with singing, prayer, scripture, preaching, and more singing.


2. How do I get there?
We are in north Rockwall, Texas, meeting at Celia Hays Elementary School, located at the corner of FM 1141 & FM 552.  It is on the northern end of Rockwall, just west of the town of Fate, and just south of the city of Lavon.  The neighborhood is still new enough that it doesn't yet appear on your GPS, so here's a useful map.  /files/Pictures/map to hays2.jpg



3.  How long are the services?
Sunday School lasts 45 minutes.

Worship lasts about one hour and contains music and teaching from the Bible that will apply directly to your life.


4. Is there a dress code?
No. Feel free to dress in clothes that are comfortable for you. You can "dress up" if you want, or wear casual clothes.  You'll see people in jeans or khakis; shoes or boots, t-shirts or button-downs.


5. Will I be singled out if I'm new?
Absolutely not. You are our guest. Each Sunday, there are lots of people just like you who are checking out FaithBridge Church for the first time. Our goal is for you to have the best experience possible. You may feel free to be anonymous.


6. What about my kids?
FaithBridge Church has an exciting Children's ministry where your kids will be taught the Bible in age-appropriate classes. Our goal is to make church on Sunday the best part of your kid's week.  During worship, children are present for the opening singing and prayers.  Next, is the children's moment with the pastor.  After the children's time, they are invited to adjourn to children's church, or if they prefer, to return to their seats with their parents.
